This year I continued my tradition of painting a bird on a donated bowl for Empty Bowls McKinney. Mr. Cardinal was featured on the bowl thrown by potter Vicki Gardner, and the bowl was auctioned off to raise funds for Community Garden Kitchen and Community Lifeline Center. So now I've done a chickadee, a bluebird, and a cardinal--if you've got a suggestion for next year's Empty Bowl bird, let me know!
